The fourth Monmouth Busking Festival will be staged in the wonderful setting of Agincourt Square  providing a lively musical backdrop to the weekly Saturday market.  Held on the first Festival Saturday we welcome musicians and street performers of all ages, genres and abilities.

THE WAY IT works

Performers are asked to arrive early and register.

No pre-booking is allowed so if you wish to perform on the open mic stage in Agincourt Square you need to book a slot from 9am.  A word of warning last year all the stage slots had been fully booked by 10:15am!

There will be 15 minute slots running from 10:30am to 6:00pm

Performers are then free and encouraged to busk around town until their allocated slot.

Anyone wishing to rehearse their stage performance is welcome to busk on the outdoor stage in the family beer garden at the Robin Hood public house.

Buskers are politely reminded that amplification is not permitted in performance zones around the town.

Up to six performers will, from the open mic stage performances, be selected to play a slot on Monmouth Festival's Main Stage on Sunday afternoon, 30th July during the Monmouth Festival Fun Day in Blestium Street.
